Touring the area is quite a spectacle. The landscape is overwhelming no matter where you look. It is an impressive tour due to the contrast that the island offers us through its different landscapes and colors. Las Cañadas del Teide form a gigantic caldera of about 17 km in diameter on which the Pico del Teide sits, at 3,718 meters, which is the highest in Spain and the third highest volcano in the world.
