Search for dolphins and turtles on our kayak tour along the Southern cliffs of Tenerife!
This is not just a sports activity, it´s also a chance to discover the unique nature of Tenerife. You will go along the rocky shore that you can see from the ocean only, as it´s totally not accessible on foot. The guide will show you local dolphins, Canarian turtles, varied species of fish and animals. Great climate of the archipelago allows us to enjoy the kayak tours during the whole year.

Meeting and Pickup
The pick up in the South of Tenerife is 2 euros per person (from Callao Salvaje, Playa Paraíso, La Caleta, Fañabe, Costa Adeje, Las Américas, Los Cristianos, Costa Silencio, Golf del Sur, el Médano). The pick up from Puerto Santiago and Playa la Arena is 15 euros per car (max 8 passengers in the car).

What To Expect
This is a fantastic experience to do kayaking in the ocean and see marine animals in their natural habitat. Turtles, dolphins and a lot of fun are expecting you!
We start the kayaking trip from the beach of Los Cristianos, and head to the PalmMar rocks, with their impressive caves and caverns. We go to a special place where sea turtles live, and do snorkeling to observe these lovely animals. PalmMar waters are also home to many other species of fish and marine animals, so what you see from the surface here will amaze you and leave great memories. Snorkeling with turtles lasts 30 minutes and is guided by an instructor. Then we do more canoeing in PalmMar to enjoy picturesque views of the area. Many times when we are lucky, we meet dolphins on our way and observe these playful gorgeous animals jumping around.
The kayak trip lasts 2 hours and is accompanied by a professional guide. The minimum age is 6 years old. It´s a perfect opportunity to spend time with your whole family and friends, do some sports, get tanned, discover wild cliffs and inhabitants of the ocean. Our friendly instructors will welcome you warmly and show you the best of kayaking in the ocean.

Nov 2021No experience is necessary! Beginners are welcome on all of our kayak tours. Most of our guests have never been in a sea kayak before. Anyone in average physical condition may join a kayak tour. If you can hike or bike, you can paddle our sea kayaks. You do not need any swimming skills either.
The only prerequisite is a healthy spirit of curiosity and adventure.
Regardless of age or skill level you will find that our expeditions offer enough flexibility to make your experience with us safe and rewarding. We will show you proper sea kayaking technique and water safety before leaving the beach. And your expert guides will be with you throughout the adventure to give you pointers and improve your skills.
Sep 2022Your safety is Cool Tenerife‘s number one concern. In general, sea kayaking is safer than most other outdoor pursuits, even bicycling.
Jan 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
