Reaching the summit at 3,718 meters is no small feat. Starting around 1 AM (exact time depends on sunrise), this demanding 6 to 6.5-hour hike covers 10 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1,380 meters — a true test of stamina and spirit.
As dawn nears, the sky transforms. Shades of gold and crimson spill across the horizon, illuminating the Atlantic and the volcanic terrain below. In this magical moment, Teide casts its legendary triangular shadow — the longest on Earth — across a sea of clouds.
