What To Expect

The starting point for this hiking route is at Cafetería Carmita (in La Laguna) at approximately 10am,  towards Monte de La Orilla and Camino de Solís. The trail is considered as a route with low difficulty and will take the travelers to see the local wonders that create unique spots for great photos.

During the tour, you will watch the typical Canarian laurel forest found in the summits, as well as junipers, dragon trees, and palm trees. After enjoying the wonderful panoramic views, it is possible to get up close to the history of the place with a visit to Cruz del Carmen Visitor Center.

This is a very suitable place to explore, in a few minutes, the history, the cultural value of the park, the characteristics which make it a site of scientific interest and more information about the district of Anaga, the largest on the island of Tenerife.
