I joined Detlow's photography tour of the Anaga Mountains and came away with far more than a memory card full of images.Communication before the trip was clear and friendly — I knew exactly where we were going and what to expect. On the day we covered the laurel forest and the coastline at Playa del Benijo, two completely different shooting environments, and Detlow had clearly planned the route around light rather than convenience.What set the day apart was how much he actually teaches. He's not just a driver who knows nice viewpoints — he understands the technical side of photography and explains it in a way that sticks. He talked me through reading the light, choosing settings for tricky contrast, and composing a scene rather than just pointing the camera at it, and he adapted all of it to my level and my gear. He gave feedback on shots in the moment and was patient throughout. The snack during the break was a genuinely nice touch.If you're visiting Tenerife and want to come home with photos you're actually proud of — and understand why they work — book with Detlow. Highly recommended.

We went 5 days early to acclimate before joining a ride camp for the Vuelta al Teide Grand Fondo put on by Explora Bikes. The young owner Frederic Dhondt, was extremely helpful prior to us arriving, promptly answering our emails while suggesting where to stay in Santiago del Teide and in Los Chrtianos ( Gran Arona Hotel). And what rides to do from there. ( Do the Masca loop and the ascent of Mt Teide from Chio!).The ride camp itself was excellent. The bikes were geared right for the terrain and they were flexible allowing my wife to ride an e-bike for several days due to some knee pain. The rides themselves were spectacular. They were led by Frederic’s parents , Geert and Caroline, who have been coming to Tenerife from Belgium for years and now live there half time. We have been on tours from Backroads, Trek and Cisclismo Classico, all excellent companies, but this family easily matched those companies and the whole experience felt more intimate and personal. The parents rode e-bikes when leading the rides allowing the stronger members of our group to really push up the hills, while my wife and I never felt rushed or that we were inconveniencing them. On the day of the Grand Fondo we were chauffeured to the starting line by the Dhondts and they were there 9 hours later cheering us on and celebrating with us before driving us back to the south side of the island.I rarely write reviews, but these people made us feel like we were family. I’m sure you will have a great experience if you decide to take a tour with them.

What an amazing day! We use the scavenger hunt to find parks and statues and plazas that we never would’ve found on our own own. There was a little little bit bit of uphill walking so anyone who’s challenged by that might want to consider, but we had no trouble with the app or the clues and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Hired a road bike from Explora for a week in early december, ordered via their on-line system, confirmed the key set up dimensions via e-mail. I arrived just after 9:00am on the first day, bike was ready and set up perfectly to the notifed dims and was in good condition. I then enjoyed 7 hilly days cycling around the area with no problems - the BH SL1 2.9 was a good machine and exactly what I expected. Collection and return were as easy as it gets with very friendly service from the business owner and his mechanic. Very much recommend this business to anyone to anyone looking to hire a bike this area.

Great morning. Arranged pick up and dropped off at boat thanks Bruno! We went along the coast, stopped for food , some lovely home made bread, did some swimming jumping in the sea and the day was perfect. I have a 10 year old and 13 year old and they loved the boat.The boat is like new well equipped. Luca and his wife the captain were great. Also the boat has a toilet which was an added bonus.We were lucky enough to see two turtles and dolphins as well.The highlight of the holiday for my daughters,Thanks!

Puerto de La Cruz is a small town on a human scale where you can find everything at your fingertips, such as restaurants where you can eat fresh fish at affordable prices and bars where you can also have fun with live music. I stayed at the Monopol hotel located right in centro.Hotel clean, nice to see with its green entrance and really quiet. I highly recommend it. Thanks to the stock travel that allowed us, offering us the hotel + plane package, to spend a lovely week around Puerto or sunbathing in the Martianez complex (walking), or visiting the most beautiful beaches of tenerife (by car) such as Las Americas, Los Cristianos, playa Las Vista, Los Teresitas or enjoying the view of the dolphins by catamaran.

I have hired Pheth as a driver with a car/minivan in Luang Prabang in Laos two times, for at least five days each time. He has been a good driver, very reliable, responsible, and punctual. He is very familiar with Luang Prabang, which is a lovely small town in Southeast Asia to visit, by the way. He even drove me three hours upcountry the first visit, to Nong Khiaw in northern Laos. He understands basic English, and you can write to him in Whatsapp (+856 20 52 220 270), and I think he uses a translation app to read and reply to you. I would recommend him highly for your car and driver needs in Luang Prabang and surrounding areas.

- All employees, including management (especially Carla Noda Gonzalez): Always friendly, helpful, attentive -> 100% professional - All rooms are furnished in tiptoe style, have balcony with wonderful sea view - Excellent, versatile buffet in the morning and evening - Unique garden with lots of shade. There are enough umbrellas available. These are brought to the loungers. Many countless large palm trees also help in this regard. Comfortable loungers with mattresses incl. soft terry towels are placed or moved by the pool assistants once or several times a day on request. The beach is a 1-minute walk from the pool complex Large, private outdoor pool with fresh water, about 25 degrees warm. Width between 2-5 meters, length about 30 meters.
