We decided to book a lunch and mojo workshop for something a bit different, and really enjoyed it. This was our third visit here,so it was a change to make something,and it tasted very good. We were given a tour first by kaleb who was a great guide, very knowledgeable,his English was excellent. We were then taken through to the kitchen where chef Eduardo demonstrated how to make the red and Green dip Mojo. It was really good, just ourselves and another couple and again the guide explained things in English. We then returned to our tables and made the sauces which we made use of with our lunch. We had pulled roast pork and traditional canary potatoes and probably the best crackling ever,so crispy.

Jaime is the best guide we could have had in Tenerife. As always, perfect service and always that passion for the island also for the wine :-).

Jaime provided the most fantastic experience we have ever had on a tour. Not only was it privatized, but it was also intensely intimate, creating an experience just for us.His depth of knowledge, love for his craft, and expertise about the islands were immense and very apparent.I could not recommend his services enough; it was truly a fantastic experience with an even more amazing human being!Jaime is great!

The tour was great. I really enjoyed it. It was my first time at a winery so I learnt a lot. Wine was beautiful. Setting is stunning. Highly recommend. They also have their own beer! Get a taxi from Puerto De La Cruz! I think it would be a walk with a significant climb if you were relying on public transport

The experience was well worth it. The vineyard tour was very informative. We had so much fun making our own mojo sauces after being shown how by the chef. The wine tasting was interspersed with our time making the mojo sauces. Definitely a must do if you have the time and a car to drive to the vineyard.

Very nice winery, top food and the view a dream! The Mojo course including wine tour is highly recommended. During preparation there are 3 wines and even small snacks.

Feel Tenerife…we felt Tenerife as well as tapped into all our other senses on this remarkable 2-day tour. The tour was pleasing to our sense of smell with the aromas of the nature around us, the food prepared for us, the wine we tasted and the markets we shopped. Our sense of taste was delighted with the amazing food and wine that we were able to sample during our visits. Our sense of sight was rewarded with the beautiful scenery in every direction we looked and postcard worthy photos at every turn. Our sense of hearing was accomplished with the sounds of nature and eagles flying over our heads. Our sense of touch was felt in the rocks we handled, the hugs we received, the handshakes from friends along the way, but we felt Tenerife fully with the feelings of friendships we made along our travels with Jamie. We felt the love Jamie has for his island and for the clients he leads on his tours. You can tell this is not a job for Jamie as much as it is a passion. We were greeted on our first day in an immaculately clean, quiet comfortable vehicle. It was stocked with water and additional jackets that were supplied if needed. We quickly knew Jamie loved feeding our taste for knowledge about Tenerife. He is extremely knowledgeable about the culture and life on the island since he has lived there his whole life, and has a degree in tourism as well. There wasn’t a question we asked that he didn’t have the answers to. Conversation with Jamie was effortless from the moment we met. He was knowledgeable about the wine we tasted at the Bodega La Haya winery as well. Vicky, a very friendly, special lady was our guide at the winery and she prepared a wonderful wine tasting and tapas to go along with the 3 different wines we tasted. We felt like we were sitting down to drink wine with our family at the dinner table. The food was perfectly delicious and consisted of local specialties that were unlike any we had eaten at the restaurants we had visited. Jamie knew all the local places to visit and that is what we prefer. We like to hit a few of the more touristy areas, but love local out of the way places mixed in. Along with the winery we also visited an amazing local restaurant where they served a lunch fit for royalty, a café where we sampled a local barraquito coffee, AMAZING! We also visited Mount Tiede, the Drago de Icod de los Vinos, a live Dragon Tree that is believed to be close to a thousand years old, farmers markets, churches and monasteries where Jamie pointed out little hidden treasures along the way. I would not hesitate to book another tour with Jamie the next time we are in Tenerife as there is so much left to discover about this beautiful island. Thank you for the best, most informative and satisfying tour Tim and I have ever been a part of. We truly Felt Tenerife!!

We the wine and cheese tour and had a great experience. We enjoyed our wine and cheese pairing so much that we bought a couple of bottles to take home. They even have a couple of craft beers in case you drag a beer only person along like we did! It's a cool experience with an interesting history of the winery.

We were of party of 7 booked on the guided tour at 16.00 on 29.04.2026. This was a birthday surprise for one of us, we were in good spirits and looking forward to the afternoon. The guide seemed in a hurry and didn't like to answer questions in some rooms, telling us to ask questions in the next room. She kept repeating that some rooms could be rented for an event, and that we should take photos. We were also told off like school children, for turning to the wrong door to exit the wine cellar. There were posters with Wine & Sex all over the place, and we were giggling amongst ourselves about this. The guide complained afterwards that we were ridiculing her, which was not at all the case. She deserves a 1 point rating, she really came across that she did not like her job. In contrast, the wine tasting afterwards was a pleasure, the young sommelier loved and knew his job, he was also very entertaining and we learned quite a lot from him, and very much enjoyed the nice wines and cheeses. He deserves a 5 point rating.

The bodega is located after a winding road up to a beautiful terrain with a nice view of the ocean and surrounding vineyards.
