The whole experience was brilliant. Picked up and dropped off back at the hotel. From the moment we stepped on board Felix was a gracious host. We saw pilot whales, we then chose as a group to go to the cliffs to have the chance to see more. While there we saw dolphins, green turtles and even a hammerhead shark. Felix made sure we had plenty of drinks and snacks throughout the experience. I felt the cost was more than reasonable compared to similar operators with many more people on board.

What an absolutely fantastic experience, thank is to Ion for this tour full of education and genuine care for the sea life.A boat of smaller capacity is the way to go. With just 9 of us on this trip it really meant we had a great experience and interaction with our amazing and knowledgable captain.Whilst it costs more than the other trips it was clear why. They focus on conservation and lower numbers supports this - one to book for sure

Excellent tour and very ethical, we found the 12:30 booking far quieter than the 10:30! They set a great example for another, far less considerate boat close by that we saw sail THROUGH a pod of dolphins which we thought was very disrespectful! Our boat stayed a way away to watch, and the dolphins ended up avoiding the first boat and coming to play with ours (perhaps because they felt safer), they followed us pretty much up until the port on our way back in. The guides are lovely and announce if anything has been seen and where best to see them which we found very helpful. We saw a hammerhead shark, pilot whales and lots of dolphins! Thank you and highly recommend!

We’ve just got back from this experience and it was so good! The guide Andy was great, speaking in various different languages with ease which was really nice as there were people from all around the world on our boat! Straight away the guide advised the best way to see animals and to avoid sea sickness which helped me greatly as I do sometimes struggling with sea sickness. The food was really nice and you can have as many drinks as you like. For soft drinks it’s free but for alcohol it comes with a small charge which I think is fine! The swim in the sea was great with the captain encouraging you to jump/dive in if you want but no pressure. Again the guide was very knowledgable about Los Gigantis and also the pilot whales that we saw. What was really really great is that they do not chase any animals! The captain and guide point them out but they turn off the boat and allow the whales to move around you. It’s so lovely as we have been to one other experience where they chased and it was awful (in Sri Lanka not Tenerife). Thoroughly great experience and would recommend to anyone wanting to do this either from the north or south of the island.

We loved the experience, much better than boats where there are so many people. Also we saw many dolphins and whales on the excursion. The only thing I missed was that they did not indicate safety measures (life jackets..).

A special tour that we will not forget ♥️
We had booked the tour at 12:00 PM and had a really great time! Our guide was a biologist and was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and nature. He explained a lot to us during the entire tour and answered all our questions in detail.Right at the end of our tour, an unplanned little adventure was added: Our boat's engine failed. What was initially not planned, of course, somehow made the tour even more special in retrospect. While we were waiting for help, we had even more time on the open sea and were even able to spot a sea turtle while being towed. That way, we incidentally got to know a completely different side of seafaring. 😊Our guide took great care of everyone during that time, quickly organized help, and ensured that we felt well taken care of at all times. He also used the waiting time to tell us a lot more about life on the island, tourism, wildlife and animal welfare, as well as good snorkeling spots.All in all, it was a tour full of beautiful impressions and unexpected moments. Especially because of the unplanned ending, it became an experience that we will certainly remember for a long time. We had an incredibly good time and can absolutely recommend the tour and, above all, our great guide!

Amazing!!! Absolutely fantastic few hours, and we were incredibly lucky to see a hammerhead shark, dolphins, and a turtle! Our guide, Jose, was fantastic too. He was super friendly, happy, and genuinely enthusiastic about the animals and protecting their natural environment. Excellent experience. Well organised, friendly staff who actually seemed to enjoy their job. Made the experience fun, so pleased we did it and would definitely recommend. Very safety conscious. Got an hours speed boat trip with music included as we had 5 seperate couples going up for 10min each. They took loads of pics and a couple of videos that cost €25. Booked via Cool Tenerife with a good discount code so made it really good value. Also Cool Tenerife gave good instructions of meeting point and what to expect. ❤️

An absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! Amazing value for money for a 5 hour trip, with pickup, drinks, food and swim stop included! The staff were absolutely incredible and made the whole experience fantastic- shout out to Andy for making everyone, regardless of language or age, feel so comfortable! We saw flying fish, turtles and pilot whales on our trip. There were also on board photos of each group which you could purchase for an additional cost- the quality was very very good!
