Tenerife Day Trips & Excursions

Very personal and covered what we wanted to see. Greg was great about taking our pictures and knowing about the area. Was grateful he was the one driving:)

Despite the predicted storm, we had a wonderful day. Communication was excellent, and Victor picked us up near the cruise terminal. We learned a lot about the island, visited places like Icod and Garachico, and Victor drove us safely along the winding roads to Masca. The day was tailored exactly to our wishes.

The perfect tour for all the south Tenerife highlights. I’m so glad I booked this tour it was really incredible to see all the sights and my guide Jose was extremely knowledgeable, I learned so much about the natural history of Tenerife. Make sure to pack lots of water and sun cream!

Greg was a great guide and we appreciated his tolerance when we confused our meet-up time and arrived late. His approach to showing us the Mt. Teide National Park was just what we wanted, and we very much enjoyed our 5 hours with him.

Everything about the tour was great. I had done it twice before! This time it was with a different friend by way of an introduction to Tenerife. We both had a truly fantastic time.

We were actually staying in La Gomera and did our bus tour from there. The guide was very good, there were only 4 of us who were English, so we sat at the front and she explained the history etc to us, then afterwards she used the microphone and did the rest in German. We stopped and had a walk through part of the forest to see all the views which was very nice. We then stopped at a very small pottery where you could purchase things if you so wished. Later we stopped at a restaurant for lunch (price not included in the trip) and had a look round the visitors centre. We then headed back to Valle Gran Rey where our trip started from.

Masca and the volcano were the highlights of the trip. Vehicle comfy and air conditioned. Lunch very good. Lots of stops for photos. Great to see unusual birds and lizards too. Highly recommend

After the ride in October last year, I booked another ride with Alberto. Another wonderful ride with various stories about historical places along the way and of course I had a nice cycle, and after a while I gave my own bike a service for the next kilometers in the Netherlands. Will definitely come back here again, what a service, even went with me to the Trek store to repair a spoke in my rear wheel.

I saw Puerto de La Cruz again after about ten years on a hot and muggy day. The walk is beautiful from which you can see the Martianez seawater pools with islets (on which sunbeds and umbrellas are positioned) representing the 7 Canary Islands. Some time ago I swam there pleasantly and in an even earlier moment I had been in the place below sea level which included a theater (with excellent international performances) and a casino. The visit to the older center with the houses with wooden balconies was pleasant, as was the walk in front of the church with the frangipani trees. The rest of the city is modern, anonymous. La Orotawa has a nice historic centre, but the Casas de los balconies which I remembered being better kept are a bit disappointing and their museum is not worth the €6 per person for a quick visit to the upper floor where you can't get inside for 4/5 rooms, but only look at them from the entrance door and which are furnished but have nothing more than the old houses of our ancestors. The ground floor is a whole display of tourist souvenirs with the usual things you find around including all the tablecloths and similar items, most of which are machine-made and chinoiserie. Disappointment then for the missed visit to the carpet museum (huge paintings painted with sand on the floor and depicting sacred characters) which I once remembered in front of the Casa de Los Balcones and now next door, in a municipal building which did not display any opening hours. visit and that it was closed that day. None of the managers of the surrounding premises knew when there would be someone to open it. On the way back to Los Cristianos, the stop at Candelaria was interesting, which on 15 August and 2 February celebrates the Virgin of Candelaria, patron saint of all the Canary Islands.

We are very happy and we thank Florencio very much for everything he taught us on the tour. We have known corners of the island that are impossible to reach otherwise. We will repeat, without doubt:) The car is super comfortable and he is super attentive. Thank you!

The guide was excellent, the tour was perfect. My recommendation is to take the trip. It was very safe and Florencio knows a lot of local history.

Stunning views. Excellent and very knowledgeable guide. The actual trip and guide were amazing. I was disappointed however that just a couple of days beforehand I was emailed to say they wouldn't be picking us up and that we had to make our own way by bus to a hotel that we didn't know. Everyone else was picked up at their own hotels. This made it a little stressful beforehand.

Just back from a really great tour of the Teide National Park with Florencio. Pick up from our hotel was right on time, and we then had a lovely tour up to and around the park, with lots of really interesting insights into the park, as well as Tenerife and the Canary Islands in general. Stops at amazing views and the botanical gardens.

I had a really fun day out cycling.The bikes were excellent and our guide, Jesper, had really strong knowledge of the roads to create a brilliant and scenic route and looked after us on the ride, advising where the route became more challenging. Everything was really well organised and we were well looked after. I will definitely book again on another trip to Tenerife
