I joined Detlow's photography tour of the Anaga Mountains and came away with far more than a memory card full of images.Communication before the trip was clear and friendly — I knew exactly where we were going and what to expect. On the day we covered the laurel forest and the coastline at Playa del Benijo, two completely different shooting environments, and Detlow had clearly planned the route around light rather than convenience.What set the day apart was how much he actually teaches. He's not just a driver who knows nice viewpoints — he understands the technical side of photography and explains it in a way that sticks. He talked me through reading the light, choosing settings for tricky contrast, and composing a scene rather than just pointing the camera at it, and he adapted all of it to my level and my gear. He gave feedback on shots in the moment and was patient throughout. The snack during the break was a genuinely nice touch.If you're visiting Tenerife and want to come home with photos you're actually proud of — and understand why they work — book with Detlow. We spent our day in Tenerife with Theo, an avid photographer and talented storyteller. With his professional camera and expert eye, he took all the pictures of us we wanted and will send them to us via WhatsApp. No charge! We were very happy about that because nobody is missing in the photos. While we were enjoying the different sights of the island, Theo entertained us with true, funny, spooky and magical stories about the island, the different areas, and the people. When it was time for lunch, he took us to a lovely local restaurant where we enjoyed incredible dishes and delicious local wines. We loved it! We originally booked a private whale watching tour by motorboat, which unfortunately had to be cancelled due to a technical problem. However, Ocean Blue responded quickly and easily and offered us a free upgrade: 3 hours private tour by sailboat – even including snacks, soft drinks, beer, sparkling wine and bathing stop (which we skipped in favor of longer sailing time).Our captain Alex was fantastic – competent, personable and great at dealing with children. We were very lucky to see whales up close, and our children were even allowed to steer the boat!Many thanks to the entire team – a real highlight of our holiday. 100% recommendation!

This was a fantastic trek to the summit of El Teide via the Monty Bianca route. Very well organised by Cool Tenerife and pre trip communication about possible weather interruption and alternatives. The guide Aurelio Domingo Roza Was also amazing and made it all possible. Very experienced and knowledgable and felt his passion for what he does and nature. Felt. Very safe and was so glad I did it with him. It is a lot of elevation and quite a slog. He was very patient and determined that I would summit. He even shared the lunch his wife had made him as a bit madly I came without food. Highly recommend Cool Tenerife Aurelio and this climb in the beautiful National Park and thank you. Will definitely come back for more

Me and my friend decided to try something different while we were in El Medano. To be honest I did not expect much when we first booked it, but it turned out to be really great fun. The download of the app was easy and every step is nicely explained. You get hints when you need them and an explanaition on the correct answer on every step as well. While we were trying to solve our puzzles we even got a nice tour around town. It was a good laugh when we were not the same opinion on answers and we actually had to use our brains as well trying to figure things out. (I did not expect that:):):)). We were only two adults and really enjoyed, but I can totally see how this would be a great thing to do for families with kids or if you have a bigger group splitting it up and make a challange out of it who is back on the finish line faster. All in all a def thumbs up from me!!!

Great way to capture vacation memories
Justas was great at helping my family capture our trip to Tenerife. He was great at communicating with me prior to the scheduled time, coordinating a place where we could meet, and was perfectly prompt. He knows the area enough to know where there are quality backdrops, and helped keep the session going in a way that was able to keep my 7-year old from getting bored. He was so good that spectators were asking for his information while we were in the middle of our session, but he was professional enough to make clear that his focus was us. Photos were delivered just a couple days later, all very quality (well, as good as possible for the photos that I was in).

After the ride in October last year, I booked another ride with Alberto. Another wonderful ride with various stories about historical places along the way and of course I had a nice cycle, and after a while I gave my own bike a service for the next kilometers in the Netherlands. Will definitely come back here again, what a service, even went with me to the Trek store to repair a spoke in my rear wheel.
