La Laguna Tours

This is the second tour I've done with this company. I really enjoyed Santa Cruz and La Laguna. I had expected them to be more of a big city with normal tall buildings like any other big city in the world, but was really impressed by the hidden gems at every corner... a small church, a bridge over a "barranco" and the architecture of official buildings. La Laguna was nice too, but I liked the atmosphere of Santa Cruz better.Anaga forest is a whole different story. It's like entering a whole different world, such lush green vegetation, roads so covered by tall trees that they become dark in full daylight, and the views are breathtaking. The little treck in the Forest of the Senses as they call it was something you need to experience... can't be described in words.A shoutout to the guide for his knowledge, and specially the fun way in which he told us everything, and the music accompanying in the bus! I would certainly book with this company again.

Jamie is a very professional and knowledgeable, provides interesting insights, very personable, and an absolute joy to be with. He is a top tier guide and speaks English very well. He will expertly tailor your trip based on your interests and activity level.My wife and I first took the ANAGA, valley of nature and tradition tour with Jamie; it is a must do trip if you plan to visit Tenerife. Jamie knows all the trails and the breathtaking views to get those majestic pictures that show the beautiful Tenerife landscape.We also booked two more tours with Jamie: the second was THE NORTH, walk through villages and ports – he knows all the interesting points and history of the villages and ports, and he took us to great photo locations so we could take photos of iconic locations on Tenerife. Our third tour was TEIDE National Park and TENO Country Park - he knows the times to get to the various sites to beat the crowds and makes your trip feel special.We asked Jamie to take us to local restaurants for authentic savory food and we experienced gastronomy delights. He also provided us with excellent hotel recommendation which made our stay on Tenerife that much more enjoyable. His electric Mercedes van is a pleasure to ride in, and he is always very punctual. I highly recommend Jamie for any Tenerife tour you are contemplating.

Wonderful landscapes, spectacular treatment, my family and I loved this excursion, it is perfect to know the island better and enjoy the nature of Tenerife. Very good choice.

Our driver and guide, Antonio, is a friendly, knowledgeable expert guide for Tenerife. We spent the day with him driving around the island, frequently stoping for pictures and discussing the history, geology, and social aspects of Tenerife. Antonio definitely knows the geology of the four kinds of volcanoes on the island. When you travel with him , you have the opportunity to learn and see almost anything that you request. Since Antonio allows his guests to set the pace and itinerary, you can have an amazing experience with him as you drive around Tenerife.

Well worth the money to be private and not wait around for others all day. There was a general itinerary but Teo was very accommodating to other request, while also knowing what was worth actually seeing, due to unpredictable weather. I was quite impressed with how knowledgeable he was and answered practically any random question we had. He was laid back, made us laugh and was a pleasure to be around. I would highly recommend!

We had an amazing day with Antonio. He took us to many beautiful stops in Teide national park, shared his detailed knowledge of the geology and gave us a huge amount of information about Tenerife. He went out of his way to show us many magnificent and stunning views, and was very generous with his time. Thank you so much, Antonio!

Wonderful tour (despite the rain, lol)..... Neil was a brilliant guide , very informative on the places we visited and the island in general. Highly recommend. Great tour in a comfortable luxury vehicle. All in all fantastic

We had a fantastic time with Jaime on this tour as well as another to the top of Mt. Teide. His knowledge of the island, its history and ways to connect with us as a family were top notch! We really enjoyed the time to and from the key points of interest and his ability to take us to places away from the crowds to all the right places before they got busy. We had to change course a little with the weather on one of our days, but Jaime made the trip so enjoyable for us and our boys that we can't speak highly enough of him. We loved our time on Tenerife and highly recommend you consider a day trip with Jaime.

While we’ve been vacationing in South Tenerife for the past two winters, we were anxious to explore more of the Country, specifically the North. Our tour to Santa Cruz and San Cristobal de la Laguna did not disappoint. This was largely due to the very knowledgeable tour guide (Hector) who spoke fluently in three languages, and the experienced bus driver. We were very comfortable taking the full day tour with just the right amount of travel, guided description and free time.

- All employees, including management (especially Carla Noda Gonzalez): Always friendly, helpful, attentive -> 100% professional - All rooms are furnished in tiptoe style, have balcony with wonderful sea view - Excellent, versatile buffet in the morning and evening - Unique garden with lots of shade. There are enough umbrellas available. These are brought to the loungers. Many countless large palm trees also help in this regard. Comfortable loungers with mattresses incl. soft terry towels are placed or moved by the pool assistants once or several times a day on request. The beach is a 1-minute walk from the pool complex Large, private outdoor pool with fresh water, about 25 degrees warm. Width between 2-5 meters, length about 30 meters.

Another great tour with Tamaran!This time, we went to the north east part of the island. Our guide's name was Frankie, and he was every bit energetic, professional, and fun to be around.The tour lasts for most of the day, and you will see the not-so-tourist part of the island. To me, this is very important, since it provides a sense of balance, history and local culture. We all love Playa Las Americas but the novelty wears off after a while.We ate a great restaurant called Xiomara, complete with a fish, pork, and vegetarian menu. Bottles of wine are part of the meal if you would like a drink, and water is also served.I absolutely loved this tour, which I booked through my TUI Hotel here. I recommend this, since it makes the whole experience that much more easier. They will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. Overall, I give Tamaran 5/5 for fun and customer satisfaction.

Excellent tour! Just enough time in all the right places. Really interesting guide and super driver. Really glad we did this and saw what the rest of the island can offer. Was initially put off reading some poor reviews but these were not true. The bus was prompt and the driving to and from was not long. There were lots of toilet stops and the aircon was fine. La Laguna was the highlight. The only suggestion would be to bring a snack / sandwich as lunch was about 2.30.
