Teide Cable Car Tours

Excellent. They picked us up at 8:45 and dropped us back off at the hotel at 15:15. We toured the main iconic spots of the National Park, leaving time for stops to take the typical photos. Laura, the guide who accompanied us, gets an A+ from us, explaining everything very clearly and leaving no room for any doubt. Thank you very much for showing us Teide National Park

Very beautiful excursion. I should clarify that this is not the first time I have visited Teide National Park, but this year I opted to go up by cable car. Pickup point near our residence and punctual pickup. Already at the time of pickup, our guide Enrico knew how to put everyone at ease. The route to get to the park was full of interesting information. The driver Miguel is super experienced. After a stop at the Roque de García, we were accompanied to the base of the cable car. An ascent of about 8 minutes and you arrive almost at the summit of his majesty El Teide. What can I say, exciting. My daughter and I took a short route and admired a panorama unique in the world. If there had been more time available, it would be perfect to be able to walk on the trail longer. It certainly won't be the last time I go up. A heartfelt thank you to Enrico, a wonderful guide; he knows how to put many people of various nationalities at ease. A very knowledgeable and experienced guide (in many years of excursions in Tenerife I have never found a guide like him), and a round of applause for Miguel, a friendly and capable driver. Great way to experience the drive to Mt. Teide in the Cabrio bus . If you want to do the cable car ride make sure you book that as an extra . Our guide Juan was excellent and made the trip fun and answered any other questions we had . Our driver Manuel skilfully negotiated the narrow winding roads which can be busy with traffic , especially tourists in hire cars ! Would definitely recommend this tour , such beautiful scenery and fantastic views from the bus .

Just magic. The whole departure had gone smoothly. Maria and her colleague were very friendly and helpful. The only thing that bothered me was the dirty window on the bus. Otherwise everything was perfect. Thank you

Fortunately I booked a tour of mount Teide on a sunny day, it snowed the day after and there was an earthquake apparently but I didn't notice. That was the day after the tour so we all did well as some tours the day after were cancelled. The tour guide and driver were excellent. I got some good photos and had just enough time for, drinks, a snack and the toilet when the coach parked up. The stops gave us enough time and the coach went a different way on the way back so I got dropped off first. It was very good.

A fantastic day, you travel by coach with several stops as you uncover the wonder of the Teide National Park, the views are amazing.. The Onboard guid Laura was very knowledgable and conversed in multiple languages.. The Optional Cable Car ascent up to the top is a must do as the views are even better.. 10 out of 10.

Coach trip up to Teide National park and volcano. Tour guide Enrique with driver Miguel were amazing. Enrique was funny charming and knowledgeable and gave a nearly non stop guided tour for the whole trip, continually mixing from Spanish to Italian to English and sometimes even German. I think the best tour guide I have come across in a very long time. National park and volcano were quite literally like another planet, no wonder they tested the Mars rover there. The cable car up was good and at the top there was snow but it wasn’t that cold with the hot sunshine. Only needed a thin jumper. Stars of the day were Enrique with excellent driving from Miguel. Would highly recommend.

Excellent trip - lots of driving but the convertible bus makes the travel more fun, plus you can still bask in the sun. It’s also an early start (we were picked up at 8:45am) but well worth it as you get to the amazing Masca before the crowds descend.We paid extra for the cable car (90 euros in cash on the bus) which was brilliant. We were very lucky to have a super clear day with no clouds. If you don’t do this, you have to wait at a different stop near the cable car station for a couple of hours.If the weather turns, or when driving at speed, the clear roof is pulled back so visibility is still great but it’s much warmer.Seeing the landscape around Mount Teide is a must-see, and really makes you appreciate Tenerife in a different light. There’s one stop at a shop but there’s no pressure to buy anything. The day is quite full on but good fun.If we were doing it again, I’d pack some food and a light lunch. We bought food at the cable car stop (not cheap but also not a crazy rip off) but there wasn’t much time to fit that in.Overall it was great, book it!

The guide was very knowledgeable and made everyone laugh. He went over and above for us to get tickets for Teide, as we didn’t book. The driver was also brilliant, especially up & down to Masca.

Wow!! Words do not do the views from near the top justice. Jose as our guide was amazing, delivering insightful information about Teide and the surrounding areas in German, English & Spanish. Domingo as our driver ensured we were safe at all times whilst navigating the winding roads. Would definitely recommend purchasing the cable car tickets to climb to 3500 meters for the amazing views of Tiede.

I chose this trip as I only wanted to see Teide and most the other trips visited other villages and stopped for lunch etc. This trip was perfect as it was approximately 4.5 hours from Santa Cruz and back again. There was one stop for a toilet break for 15 minutes which was perfect. The bus used was very good and the driver felt very safe. I would recommend checking the likelihood of the cable car being in operation as it wasn't operating in early February because of wind and ice.

If you’re looking for an excursion to do whilst in Tenerife, and have a full day to use, this could the the one for you. Note that the trip itself involved around four hours of the time on a coach (roughly two hours there and two hours back). The coach was comfortable and modern, with Ac and recliners. The group was about thirty strong. The price includes the coach fare and the cable car up the volcano. The guide was super friendly, very knowledgeable and added to the experience by sharing so much facts, history and more. I would say the trip is best for more active and fit people and may not suit those with small children or with more elderly persons. I really enjoyed the experience as it was my main excursion of the trip, and the atmosphere was created by the great guide we had but also the fellow tourists were easy to talk to and get along with.

Went on a tour of Tiede and Masca with my mother who is a little disabled (difficult to walk for her). We went with Laura (guide) and Jose (driver). The tour was fantastic. I really enjoyed every minute of the day. The value for money was fabulous. This tour made my holiday and my mum as well. Jose was an amazing driver and Laura a very well rounded tour guide with lost of interesting data about the island. They were very helpful for my mum as soon as they realized she couldn't easily manage all the walking at the stop offs. I found Laura to be kind and friendly and very helpful and Jose was funny and a skilled driver considering the winding mountain roads with only space for one vehicle and lots of oncoming traffic. I'm certainly glad I wasn't driving!

We had a wonderful day yesterday visiting Teide National Park and coastal towns.Our guide Hector Rodriguez was amazing, knowledgeable, interesting and caring of tourists. Driver Miguel was very safe and careful driving dangerous mountain road’s.It was a great trip for us! Steven and Irina

We had a wonderful experience on the Teide Park tour, thanks to our amazing guide, Laura. She explained everything clearly, shared so much interesting information, and was incredibly helpful throughout the day. Her pleasant and friendly nature made the entire tour even more enjoyable.The tour itself was fantastic. We started with a comfortable pickup by bus and made our way up to Teide National Park, with a brief stop in Vilaflor before exploring the stunning landscapes of the park. From there, we continued to the town of Icod, where we saw the impressive Drago Milenario — a true symbol of the Canary Islands.Our journey along the north coast took us to the charming town of Garachico, and later to the village of Masca, where the deep ravines and unique scenery were absolutely breathtaking. Finally, we made our way back to our hotel, feeling enriched by everything we had seen and learned.Laura’s guiding truly elevated the experience, and we are grateful for her knowledge, kindness, and professionalism. We highly recommend her to anyone considering this tour!
