Tenerife Surfing Lessons

The lesson was very good. We were described techniques and how to deal with waves. I just would not call the waves we tried as “beginner”, it was too scary for me. But our instructor helped all of us a lot, thank you for that! Overall I liked the experience, I was able to stand and catch the wave 🤙🏻

We had an amazing private family surfing lesson with Surf Life Tenerife and I can highly recommend them!Our instructor, Pablo, was really nice. From the very beginning, he made us feel safe, relaxed and well looked after. Before we even entered the water, he took some time on the beach to explain everything thoroughly, making sure we all understood the basics and felt confident.Once we were in the water, Pablo gave us helpful feedback after every wave, which made learning both fun and effective. We especially appreciated how attentive he was to our 9-year-old daughter, making sure she felt comfortable, encouraged and safe throughout the lesson.The surf school also had an additional assistant in the water, who kept an eye on everyone, made sure we didn't drift too close to the shore and gave our daughter extra support whenever she needed it. Having two instructors made us feel very well looked after as a family.We also loved the professional photos taken during our lesson, they are wonderful memories of a great experience.Overall, the whole team was professional, friendly and genuinely focused on making sure everyone had a safe and enjoyable time. Whether you're a complete beginner, more advanced or taking a family lesson with children, I would totally recommend Surf Life Tenerife. We had an amazing experience!....and now we’re all craving more surfing!

We had a fantastic experience with this surf school. The instructor was highly knowledgeable, patient, and especially supportive with both me and my son, which made the lesson enjoyable and confidence-building for us both.The location is excellent — just a short walk to the beach and conveniently close to other amenities. There is also good parking nearby at a reasonable cost, which made the whole experience stress-free.After the lesson, we took a relaxing stroll along the beach and had a wonderful family time. Overall, a great experience that we would happily recommend to others.

Great school! Edu is one of the best instructors I’ve ever had – very patient, clear in his explanations and always focused on safety. I always felt comfortable in the water and could really see my progress from session to session. The only thing I missed was having a sandy beach, but that’s of course not the school’s fault, just the local conditions. Everything the school could influence – organisation, equipment and communication – was really great. I hope I’ll be back one day and continue from where we left off. Definitely recommended!

Oli & Anne were fantastic, if you want to experience some great surfing with great coaches, then look now further! I came with my son and Oli catered for our varied abilities in a small group which was much better than the large groups you normally see in Tenerife. Can’t recommend these guys enough! 🤙🏼

I had four private classes with Airam and it was a great experience. I'm a beginner but not new to surfing. He corrected some mistakes that I would never realize I was doing. After that I had a great time in one of the biginners' spot in Las Américas catching all the waves I could get and still learning every day a bit more. Definitely the best school! Thanks guys!

I booked a 3h wingfoil course with my 13 year old daughter. Martín was a super trying teacher and so we had a great time at the water and learned not only the sport but also a lot about the wind! We are already looking forward to the next few hours!!
