After spending a while researching various surf schools options in Tenerife that offer beginner-friendly group lessons and transfers, I was really pleased to find Surf Life Tenerife and had a great few days learning with Danny and his fantastic team, Tommy and Guillermo. They were super friendly, great communication and made booking really simple. Would definitely recommend having lessons with them.

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Booked as a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Amazing experience, really good tour guide Simon or Simone (not sure of spelling), he was very knowledgeable of the area, explained everything really well and was very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him, we saw dolphins, turtles, a shark and schools of fish whilst snorkeling. The trip is around 3 hours, take sunscreen, water and wear a hat.

The experience was very nice, our El Capitan talked about the animals during the tour. During the tour we were able to see pilot whales, which was very nice. The animals were always treated with consideration, e.g., engine turned off and let drift slowly toward them. We would definitely recommend the tour to everyone.

Excellent experience. Well organised, friendly staff who actually seemed to enjoy their job. Made the experience fun, so pleased we did it and would definitely recommend. Very safety conscious. Got an hours speed boat trip with music included as we had 5 seperate couples going up for 10min each. They took loads of pics and a couple of videos that cost €25. Booked via Cool Tenerife with a good discount code so made it really good value. Also Cool Tenerife gave good instructions of meeting point and what to expect. ❤️

A serious and attentive whale watching experience.
Sergio is a super captain. Precise and punctual with directions and schedules, he was excellent at helping us appreciate the cetaceans present in Tenerife. We went on two trips with him and spotted pilot whales, dolphins, turtles, a whale, and many pelagic birds. Attentive and respectful of the animals and the marine environment, Sergio allowed us to see the cetaceans from very close up without disturbing them. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience, very good value for money. Children loved seeing the turtles and dolphins and swimming out in the sea. The tour was approx 2.5 hours, all the equipment is provided. This was out first time trying kayaking , but our tour guide Simon was brilliant, very helpful and professional. I would highly recommend using this company, thanks again 😊🛶

This was great fun! I went with my 14yr old daughter and it was easy, safe and great value for money. The whole set up was simple and enjoyable and the staff were friendly. The time in the air was about 10mins per couple but it didn’t feel rushed or short changed. The extra €20 for a photo of the experience was an absolute bargain. Not only did they email 40-50 photos but there were two short videos too! Bargain! I would highly recommend this and I will definitely be doing it again the next time I’m in Tenerife.

Absolutely amazing boat trip! Would highly recommend to anyone! We saw a turtle and lots of pilot whales and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The boat wasn’t too busy, there was only about 20 people on there. Drinks and food were lovely too! The BEST boat trip we’ve been on. We had an absolute blast on our recent whale watching trip! From start to finish, everything was seamlessly organised.Booking & CommunicationBooking through Cool Tenerife was super easy. We received our confirmation promptly, followed by clear, helpful instructions via WhatsApp, which made the meeting location and preparation totally stress-free.The Crew & ExperienceOur guide, Alex, was phenomenal! He was incredibly knowledgeable, answered all of our questions with enthusiasm, and was fantastic with the children, keeping them engaged throughout the trip. Seeing pilot whales up close was an absolute highlight, and the swim stop was the perfect bonus.Equipment & BoatThe boat was in immaculate condition, clean, and very comfortable. They also provided swimming goggles for the swim stop, which were clean and in great shape. A sandwich was included along with two drinks per person, which was plenty for trip.We had such a wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an amazing day on the water!

We had an amazing private family surfing lesson with Surf Life Tenerife and I can highly recommend them!Our instructor, Pablo, was really nice. From the very beginning, he made us feel safe, relaxed and well looked after. Before we even entered the water, he took some time on the beach to explain everything thoroughly, making sure we all understood the basics and felt confident.Once we were in the water, Pablo gave us helpful feedback after every wave, which made learning both fun and effective. We especially appreciated how attentive he was to our 9-year-old daughter, making sure she felt comfortable, encouraged and safe throughout the lesson.The surf school also had an additional assistant in the water, who kept an eye on everyone, made sure we didn't drift too close to the shore and gave our daughter extra support whenever she needed it. Having two instructors made us feel very well looked after as a family.We also loved the professional photos taken during our lesson, they are wonderful memories of a great experience.Overall, the whole team was professional, friendly and genuinely focused on making sure everyone had a safe and enjoyable time. Whether you're a complete beginner, more advanced or taking a family lesson with children, I would totally recommend Surf Life Tenerife. We had an amazing experience!....and now we’re all craving more surfing!
